SIEG Premium SC70 HiTorque Gear Head Bench Lathe

Introducing the SC70 HiTorque Gear Head Lathe—the next-generation gear head variable speed lathe from SIEG. Engineered for industrial-grade precision and inspired by gunsmithing lathes, this lathe represents a substantial upgrade over any bench lathe currently on the market.

Key features include a 1kw HiTorque brushless motor with a torque controller, a precision-ground and induction-hardened V-bed, an oil-bathed gearbox, a quick-change tool post, a cam-lock tailstock, powered longitudinal and cross feeds, and a large 26mm spindle bore.

Gunsmithing Features Include:
Spider Mount System features four stabilizing screws that support long shafting and rifle barrels through the outboard end of the spindle. Additionally, the reinforced tailstock ensures greater stability and accuracy for barrel work. The 750mm distance between centers accommodates long gun barrels.

Compared to its predecessor, the C6, the new SC70 features a wider bed for enhanced rigidity and stability, along with an additional 30kg in total weight. Equipped with SIEG’s advanced HiTorque brushless motor, it offers exceptional performance and greater usable torque across the entire RPM range. Furthermore, the oil-bathed gearbox enables the cutting of both metric and imperial threads.
