The Model 000 quick change tool post is a wedge type tool post system designed specifically to work on small lathes that have limited swing over the compound. This set is for lathes with up to 210mm/8" swing and is suitable for SIEG SC4 lathe or similar.


The tool post and tool holders are of hardened steel construction for excellent rigidity and the mating faces are ground for better repeatability when changing tools.

The Model 000 Quick Change Tool Post is a wedge type quick change tool post system that uses sliding wedges in the dovetails of the tool post to clamp tightly on the tool holder dovetail.

This cut-away view shows how the sliding wedges have teeth which engage in the thread of triple start screw operated by the locking lever.

This tool holder is designed to hold square tools up to 10mm.

This boring tool holder is designed to hold ø10mm round tools using the split sleeve (included) and ø12mm without the sleeve.

This tool holder is not suitable for C2,C3,SC3 or similar lathes since the 4° angle raises the tool higher than the centre. Please choose the Parting Tool Holder (Horizontal).
